Persimmon Party

I walked up hill a bit to Ishibashi Memorial Park, which is a memorial park for Mrs Ishibashi, who was from a distinguished samurai family and left as her legacy to leave her land for nature.

The buildings and gates, which used to be an actual part of the Ishibashi family houses, were restored and are now in the park.

There was a persimmon tree in the middle of the park and all the fruit lovers had a party!

a Brown-eared Bulbul (Hiyodoriヒヨドリ)

a Pale Thrush (Shiroharaシロハラ)

a Brown-headed Thrush (Akaharaアカハラ)

a Japanese White-eye (Mejiroメジロ) - blurred...

oops...

a Dusky Thrush (Tsugumiツグミ)

The birds who are not interested in fruit were present as well.

a Japanese Pygmy Woodpecker (Kogeraコゲラ)

a Bull-headed Shrike (Mozuモズ)

The sky looked dull but it was a lovely day for me and the party lovers!
