One of the most striking looking birds we saw in the wetlands is the Crimson finch.

White-gaped honeyeater
Little shrikethrush
Forest kingfisher
Comb-crested jacana & Willie wagtail
Fairy gerygone
Green pygmy geese
We spotted this little one on the boardwalk instead of a croc 🦎🐊
We recorded over 40 species of birds during our walk (3 hours) and can say the TYTO wetlands is a wonderful place for birdwatching, or just for being away from busy daily life😉
